Welcome to Innovate Anderson

 

Innovate Anderson is a public/private economic development organization formed by Anderson County, the City of Anderson, Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and private businesses. We provide the marketing support and mobilize the resources that help the Anderson County Office of Economic Development attract new industry and commercial/retail businesses through marketing support.

 

We are a catalyst for local initiatives that enhance Anderson County’s tourism. One of Innovate Anderson’s initiatives was the creation of the Anderson Convention & Visitors Bureau.

 

In 2006, Innovate Anderson acquired ownership of the Clemson University - Advanced Materials Center and began a formal partnership with Clemson University. The Anderson County - Clemson University relationship is focused on the successful development and marketing of the research and economic development campus, which is anchored by the Clemson University Advanced Materials Research Laboratory. Innovate Anderson’s ultimate goal in relation to its Clemson University - Advanced Materials Center ownership is the creation of high paying jobs and research and economic development investments that will sustainably fuel the county’s economy for the foreseeable future.

 

Innovate Anderson cultivates relationships between private and public organizations that lead to a stronger and more vibrant community for the citizens of Anderson County.
